Nurul Qalam Academy is an online Quran and Islamic education institution.
Our journey begins with one purpose: that children, teenagers and adults - each according to their age, time and current level - may easily learn correct recitation of the Quran and the essential knowledge of the deen.
We believe age is no barrier to learning the Quran - and that no two learners need quite the same thing.
From the very beginning
Some wish to read the Quran from the very beginning.
Correcting recitation
Some can read, but want to correct their tajweed and pronunciation.
Hifz and muraja’ah
Some wish to memorise and continuously revise the Quran.

Learning at Nurul Qalam does not mean merely knowing some information or finishing a course.
We want the knowledge that is learned to slowly come into practice, so that its beauty appears in a student’s character and life.
In Quran learning especially, memorising the rules of tajweed alone is not enough. Correct pronunciation, practice before a teacher, correction of mistakes and regular recitation - all of these are part of learning.
Start from where you are
In learning the Quran, no two people begin from the same place. Some start for the first time, some can read but wish to correct their recitation, and others want to reach a higher stage.
That is why, before teaching begins, we understand each student’s current position. Accordingly, a suitable learning path is set for them.
In this process the student is not pushed into unnecessary pressure or hurry; they are taken forward step by step, where progress is what matters most.

For children, the method of teaching is kept age-appropriate. For adults and working professionals, their time, pace of learning and prior knowledge are taken into account.
Direct supervision of teachers
Every class at Nurul Qalam Academy is conducted under the direct supervision of experienced teachers. They do not merely deliver lessons - they listen to each student’s recitation, point out mistakes and guide them step by step.
Regular assessment, personal feedback and, where needed, extra guidance - this arrangement keeps the student on the right track.
Male students are taught by male teachers, and female students by female teachers.

One-to-One and small batches
According to each student’s need, two arrangements are available: One-to-One and small batches.
One-to-One
In One-to-One classes the teacher can attend more closely to a student’s recitation, mistakes and progress.
Small batch
In small batches students receive a warm learning environment alongside regular study and practice.
Which method suits whom depends on their current situation, goal and time.
From Bangladesh, across the world
Nurul Qalam Academy is not limited to Bangladesh. At present, students from more than twenty-five countries around the world study with this academy.
As a result, students in any part of the world can learn consistently at a time that suits them.
Because of time-zone differences, class times for students living abroad are set with their local time in mind.
